CCCC Billing

CCCC Billing Practices

CCCC contracts with Water & Wastewater Services (WWSvcs) of Mount Vernon to perform billing functions for our association. While the Board of Trustees governs the pricing, WWSvcs reads the meters, inputs the information into their specialized billing system, and then processes the bills.

Bills are for a 60-day period, due within 30 days of issuance. We charge a flat rate for a combined total allotment of 1600 cf per service address per billing cycle (or 800 cf per month). Those who exceed this allotment are charged accordingly. Presently we have loans and bonds that are in repayment, as the membership elected to enter into at the time we were working to bolster and expand the system. These costs are included in your bill.

Presently online billing is not available. This is a costly mechanism that will greatly increase charges passed onto our members. However, members are encouraged to help keep costs down by staying connected with us online. This allows us to economically connect with you in emergency events, pass along information pertaining to the overall health of the association, and provide you with cost savings tips and information.

There is a transfer fee charged to new members within the escrow process of purchasing their property. For more information, your escrow officer would need to contact WWSvcs or you may use our contact form to connect with the Board of Trustees

New services are charged a connection fee as outlined in our Bylaws. For more information (this applies only to undeveloped property in the process of being developed; this won't apply to most properties within our service area if they are already receiving service), contact WWSvcs.

Bills that are not payed by the remittance date will be subject to fines and fees and disconnection of water service. Water service charges continue to be charged even if water is not flowing as this is a dues fee. If you are having difficulty paying your fees and for water service, contact WWSvcs as they have a number of resources to assist with this matter. Note that our Bylaws do address failure to pay dues and for services and that properties failing to remain current are subject to a lien.
